It’s about your hair…but it’s not just about your hair.

Sitting in a stylist’s chair is about more than just getting your hair done. It’s about how you want to show up in the world and the woman you are on the inside. That’s the woman I want to support through a unique blend of beauty and wellness. As a licensed stylist and certified nutritionist, I now offer personalized hair analysis and nutrition support to help uncover the internal factors that may be affecting your hair, energy, and confidence.

My advanced training has given me a passion for creating hairstyles that not only suit your features but also align with how you want to feel. I want you to feel relaxed, supported, and excited as we begin your hair and health journey together.

Hi, I’m Kara.

I knew I wanted to be a stylist from a young age, and it’s been such a journey these past 16 years getting licensed, being mentored, discovering my passion for blonde and doing extensions, and helping women who struggle with hair loss or thinning hair. Doing hair is more than just a job for me, it’s a ministry. My way to be of service, connect with women on a deep level and honor the Lord with the skills I have been given.

My Journey

  • Starting early

At 16 I knew I wanted to do hair and decided to get my license while still in high school. In April 2009 I was fully licensed and graduated a couple of months later.

  • Building my skills

It was important to me that I work at a high-end salon right away so I could get my career off to the best start and learn from the best. I made a connection at Salon Goddess in Moses Lake, worked there for 1.5 years alongside some really skilled stylists. I learned so much during that time.

  • A time for growth

The time came to spread my wings so I moved to Spokane, WA in October 2010. It was harder to find a place to land there without any connections so I bounced around a bit at first. Then I found my place in a small, quaint, intimate salon Downtown. I stayed there for 5 years. My boss there and coworkers were influential in the growth of my skills and knowledge. Great education was always readily available in Spokane.

  • Sharing my knowledge

In 2014 I married my high-school sweetheart and the next year he moved us back to Moses Lake. I found a spot to call home at Eden Salon early 2016 and I feel like the last few years there have helped shape the stylist I am today. And over the years I’ve transitioned from mentee to mentor, sharing my knowledge and skills with the next generation of stylists coming up under me.

  • A Blooming Future

In April 2020 I made a big move and joined my dear friend and fellow stylist, Charlotte over at Bloom Salon Collective in Moses Lake. My Bloom home is a joy and I love all the women I get to connect with in this space.

  • Nourishment from Within

After years of trying to solve my own hair and hormonal challenges, I discovered the missing link was nutrition. Learning how to nourish my body from the inside out sparked a transformation—not just in my hair, but in my energy, confidence, and clarity. That journey inspired me to become a certified nutritionist so I could help other women find real answers too.
